Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer was recently censured by Maricopa County Republicans. Here is his thoughtful and factual response.
Richer, a Republican, has been battling with his party regarding the legitimacy of the 2020 election, writing what he called "my letter, of sorts, to my beloved Party (GOP) on the Ninja audit and the November 2020 election" in August 2021.
He, along with the elections staff, have been doing a fabulous job debunking false claims of fraud. and publishing a series of educational videos to help voters understand how our elections processes and technology work.
We thank Stephen Richer, the Maricopa County elections team, The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, and all our temporary elections workers who continue to stand up for the sanctity of our elections.
