In Aviation there is a saying that being a pilot is “long periods of boredom, punctuated by moments of sheer terror.”
We can say that about elections too. We are in the “terror” period—the last 8 weeks.
Think of the 104 week election cycle as a 1 hour, 44 minute flight. There are 8 minutes to follow the safety instructions and land the plane.
We’ve been watching Voter Registrations for the “Harris bump” reported after the convention. In Maricopa County we’re surrounded by renewed enthusiasm for Democrats, but it hasn’t showed up in the numbers yet. Compared to the end of 2023, Total Voter Registration is up 3% with Democrats and Independents lagging at 1% increase each, while GOP is up 5%.
This election will be about Turnout and Independents. LD3 Dems is great at both.l.
