Arizona’s Primary Election is on August 2, 2022. As a primary election serves to narrow down each recognized political party's candidates, there are separate ballots for Republican, Democratic and Libertarian voters. As an open primary, independent voters or those without a designated party must select a ballot choice for the Primary Election, even if they are on the Active Early Voting List. These voters may select a Republican, Democratic, or a non-partisan ballot (if available).

IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES

  • July 22 - Last day to request a ballot in the mail

  • July 26 - Last day to mail back your ballot

RETURN YOUR BALLOT - OR VOTE IN PERSON

Return your mailed ballot via U.S. Mail. Be sure to sign your envelope, include your phone number in case the signature verification team needs to contact you, and ensure your envelope is sealed. You may also drop your signed and sealed envelope at any vote center or drop box. Filter the results using the "Open Now: Vote Centers" checkbox to find locations to vote in person. Receive ballot updates via text and/or email! Text JOIN to 628-683. You'll receive notification when your ballot is mailed to you, when it is received back at Maricopa County Elections, and when it is signature verified and sent to be tabulated!
